Train Fairs How Can I Get A Family Or Child Discount Ticket To Travel By Train In France?

How can I get a family or child discount ticket to travel by train in France? - train fairs

I'm traveling in France with the same and 3 children, 8, 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. years. When I practice shows that, what appears to be a ticket discount for children. Does anybody know where I can buy to tickets to savings?

Thanks

Fiona

Unfortunately, I believe the Charter should be a big family "should be only for the French? But maybe I'm wrong ...

If you buy a ticket, just to buy a ticket for a child, at a reduced rate without the discount card. If you are interested in discount cards, and plans to investigate what was required, I suggest you get in touch:
RAIL EUROPE TRAVEL CENTER
179 Piccadilly
London W1V 0BA
08705 848 848

This is the address that you get when you say you want to buy a discount card on the website of the SNCF.

If all go, the planning?

If you can travel the country to buy a rail pass here in America. You need to decide how many days you want in a given period. For example, 5 days over 2 weeks. These days you have a free ride, so you should only use this if you plan some serious distances. Try to compare www.railpass.com and also the connection that prices www.ricksteves.com. If you are traveling shorter distances, it is cheaper to buy one adult ticket and 3 tickets for the children.

While in Paris, forget the visitor can get you a week at a time when they are in good metro and bus.

Useful information:
For the TGV, a reservation is required (about $ 3-5 per person) and the seats are distributed. For other train, no seats left. On many trains, there are cars 1st and 2 Class, as well as smokers and nonsmokers. The trains are not generally stay very quickly and in the season, especially in small towns. I thinkIt could be difficult, 3 children at the time, but will be important. Oh, and not the toilets while the train stopped at a gas station!

Children often pay a lower price, even without a special card, you can book your tickets directly online for the French rail or through a travel agent.
